Philinsure Ensures Its Constant Drive For Innovation #GCCPartnerStories

Take Philinsure for instance, an insurance broking firm and a risk management consulting firm that has partnered with us to implement HubSpot in their business. As part of an industry whose practices are traditionally done manually, Philinsure sought to innovate with the goal of improving efficiency and maximizing their different channels for growth opportunities.

    We sat down with Julian Sese of Philinsure as he walks us through how HubSpot has given them a whole new avenue to explore and innovate towards the promise of growth.

    What is your business, Philinsure?
    So Philinsure is an insurance broking firm and a risk management consulting firm. I handle the employee benefits side of things. So, we place employee benefits programs, health benefits, life insurance, retirement–anything that has to do with benefits. Aside from just placing programs, we also do consulting projects. Depending on what the benefit needs of our clients are, that's how we see the fit.

    What problem/s did Philinsure face prior to using HubSpot?
    The industry that we're in is old school in the sense that everything is still done manually. We started using HubSpot even before getting to know GetCre8ive, but we weren't using HubSpot to its maximum potential. And prior to using HubSpot, we were doing our sales processes, like I said, manually. There was no real marketing involved. The salespeople had to do their own marketing efforts individually. And it was really up to the superstars in sales, whether growth would be generated or not. Leads largely depended on the top management's contacts from their own network. So, it's very old school.


    How did you (together with GetCre8ive and HubSpot) solve this/these problem/s?
    HubSpot is such a great tool. I'm still learning. There's so much you cando. When we started using HubSpot, we stagnated because we didn't know how to move forward. I had some idea about how to implement, how things were supposed to work, but it was very difficult and challenging for me to apply it to our own personal process. So I was kind of stuck. I could see what needed to happen, but I couldn't find the bridge to get there. That was when I reached out to HubSpot and they introduced me to GetCre8ive. [GetCre8ive] helped me and my team understand what steps we could take to reach the solution that we want. We're still implementing the steps, but there has been vast improvements in how the team sees HubSpot,  and it's becoming a lot clearer how we're going to attain what we want to achieve.

    What was the outcome of the solution? (Were there ROIs or KPIs attained?)
    We're seeing increases in efficiency with the different segments of the team, mainly the support and account management team. And we're also looking at increased efficiency on the business development side. The team’s more cognizant of the different aspects of the sales process that we have, that's unique to us, and how we can improve that process through the use of the platform.

    What was the impact of HubSpot to Philinsure and its customers?
    When we started using HubSpot, we did several events, webinars, and some campaigns. We've been able to capitalize on these campaigns. We're still implementing the process changes, but we were able to grow a lot because of the different process changes and content that we were able to push out. There were a few new clients generated from these process changes and through the efforts of the sales team as well.
