Manila HUG 2022: Pushing for Growth and Thriving in a New Era
We entered 2022 with a new outlook: from seeing the benefits of remote work or hybrid set-ups, to the need for diversity and inclusivity, to searching and requiring more meaning in everyday work. These sentiments are not new, but they’ve become more and more vital in the workplace and through consumer lenses in the last year.
One big likely culprit is the continued rise in web use. The pandemic forced us to see the value of the Internet in making our lives easier and our work more efficient. We’re now seeing trends in various industries to maximize the potential of the Internet as a key player in business.
In the HUG Manila (HubSpot User Group) sessions of 2022, we reflected on these sentiments and processed how we, together with HubSpot, plan to play a role in this new era. We came together to envision, strategize and share our thoughts with one another.
An area where HubSpot can be a game changer is in the education sector. In the first HUG session of 2022, Gemma Price, CEO of HubGem Marketing talked about how HubSpot is empowering the communities in the education sector through Inbound Marketing. She recognizes that it can help admission staff attract and convert prospective students. There were also discussions about how HubSpot can help educators streamline their processes in order to serve the students better.
For HUG 2022 Q2, we focused on the Service Hub and how it can help business owners and employees prioritize the customer experience with an easy and connected platform that delivers authentic service and support. Guest Speaker, Hubspot Solutions Engineer Megha Bhattacharya, shares her own experiences of the Hubspot's Service Hub and reminded everyone the importance of Customer Service, and how to make it a better.
On the third installment of HUG Manila for 2022, we went back to the concluded INBOUND 2022 and talked about all the things we learned from the conference as well as all things new from HubSpot. From the new features, to our key insights from our favorite sessions. Featured in this HUG were inspiring talks from Dharmesh Shah, CTO of HubSpot; Devyn Bellamy, Founder of Black@Inbound; and Kyle Jepson, Senior Inbound Sales Professor at HubSpot Academy.
The final HUG Manila session of 2022, aptly called "Nurturing Connections in Communities: Learnings from 2022," was a great sharing session and a chance for those who missed any of the earlier HUG sessions to get up to speed. We got to talk about Marketing Trends for 2023, and some key takeaways from entrepreneurs who shared their own experiences with HubSpot.
Between each session, we also held HUG Manila Tambays to debrief and hang out with fellow HubSpot users. We got an opportunity to hear from guest HUGgers Rona Gianchand and Jenny Delos Santos of St. Peter Life Plan, Kimberly Chua of Moment to Moment, Grace Orosco of CVM Finance, and Julian Sese of Philinsure.
Interested HubSpot users can join us in the upcoming HUG Manila 2023, the first of the year, in which we aim to set things off on the right path. Called “Data Integrations Tips to Start the Year 2023” joining us will be Guest Speakers Holly Welsh, Chris Morall, and Craig Morall of TUGGER.
