As I complete my internship from GetCre8ve I look back on how I got here in the first place. It wasn't easy. With so many rejected or ignored applications, I began to lose hope in ever getting one. I settled down on the fact that I might get delayed in graduating and will have to pursue the OJT program next year. What also added to that was how my father had become sick to the point that it took its toll on my mental health.
With no other way of knowing where to get an internship, I had consulted with my college dean to which she gladly offered me the opportunity of applying here.
I was in a dark place whilst internship searching but when I finally got the job here, I felt so relieved. Getting to work at GetCre8ive showed me the difference between merely studying it to actual practice, from simple commissions to the real work experience with people in the industry. I was really hopeless, thinking that I will not get into this company. To my surprise, I was accepted. With that, I put my all in providing the best of me in my works for the company.
This journey of mine had me going up and down a wave of emotional and mental stress, but it made me more interested and hopeful to finish my course and to pursue a professional career in the future after I graduate. So for this, I thank you, GetCre8ive, for the time I had working in your care!
