GetCre8ive Goes #ATeam Building

The GetCre8ive #ATeam went on our much anticipated team building seminar last October 28-29, 2022. Our first time in a long while to meet up in person since switching to a fully remote set up!

We all had an early start on our first day as we headed to Bay Leaf Hotel in Cavite. Excited to jump into the day's schedule, we quickly got settled into our rooms and proceeded to share a festive lunch of sisig, callos, kare-kare, and grilled salmon.

Just before officially kicking off the first of the day's team activities, we had a quick corporate photo shoot wearing our most professional attires:

Following the photo shoot was an enlightening session on Mindfulness & Strengths: My Unique Power, which was led by none other than GCC Chief Advocate and Strengths Coach, Sarah Medilo.

In the session, we discussed and reflected on our unique strengths, and how we may use them in order to find meaning and purpose at work.

After a short break, we proceeded to our second session of the day, this time on how we may strive as a team through the differences and similarities in our strengths.

Our third and last session of the day was a Points of You session led by GCC Chief Curator and Strengths Coach Bel Roxas. Using the Points of You cards, we talked about our work fears and hopes to one another in an intimate sharing.

The second day began with a quick #AllSystemsGoForGrowth photo shoot, and quickly followed an exciting game of Minute to Win It that was prepared by Dea!

After a few games to secure the good vibes, we sat down for an insightful talk by Dr. Noreen Molina on Wellness & Nurturing Our Genius. We deep-dove into the different ways we can take care of our mental health, how to prevent burnout, and how we may have a better relationship with work and ourselves.

It was a much needed weekend for the team as we got to align on what is at the core of our mission: to #InspireInnovation. And while it was a stormy weekend, we felt blessed to have been able to spend time together as we become an even better and stronger team in the years to come.
